This place is a great base for two people, with comfortable beds and a beautiful bedroom.

My stay here was VERY LOVELY - will come back. I enjoyed the location, it was peaceful and unbeatable and by the lake.

If you're looking for a mind-blowing getaway, this place is an absolute gem! The beautiful, peaceful location by the loch is jaw-dropping. The modern and clean apartment offers all the facilities needed for a relaxing stay. The sunset views from the seating areas are simply breathtaking. With only the sound of waves lapping and birds singing, it's a tranquil escape. Plus, it's conveniently located just a short drive away from everything - Kirkwall, Stromness, Birsay, Skara Brae. And don't forget to try the Muckle beer from Swannay Brewery at the other end of the loch!

We had an absolutely superb stay at Lochview. The spacious bedroom, bathroom, lounge, and kitchen area were a pleasant surprise, and all the appliances provided made our stay even more convenient. With a stunning view of the Loch, we enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The hosts, Richard and Janet, were friendly, helpful, and respected our privacy. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful west coast of Orkney and the island of Rousay. The well-equipped kitchen and cosy attic layout made it a great option for a "Staycation" during colder months. We can't wait to return!

Lochview is my go-to place in Swannay. I keep returning because it has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, a dryer, and an electric kettle. The staff even helped me find my lost car keys! The flat-screen TV and no pets/no smoking policy are bonuses. See you next weekend!

this place is a hidden gem! after staying at another location in swannay, i wasn't expecting much, but lochview blew me away. the apartment is modern and clean with breathtaking views of the loch. richard and janet were the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful. can't wait to come back!

The rooms were immaculate and beautifully furnished, with high-tech appliances and blackout roof blinds for a peaceful night's sleep. The attention to detail was outstanding, even down to the radius-cast slab outside the door. The host was welcoming and friendly, and the whole place was perfectly cleaned, equipped, and maintained. The location was quiet with breathtaking sunsets and an abundance of birdlife. It was the best accommodation I've experienced, and I wish I had found this hidden gem sooner.
